These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Kadal2Sahyadri platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms
Kadal2Sahyadri ("we", "us", "our") operates an online marketplace connecting adventure seekers ("Users") with verified trek and activity organizers ("Organizers"). We act as an intermediary platform and are not directly responsible for the conduct of activities listed.
By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these terms in full.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. User Terms
2.1 Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it updated. You may not share your account with others.
2.2 Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability and organizer confirmation. A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment. You are responsible for ensuring that all participant details provided are accurate, including ID proof information.
2.3 Eligibility & Health
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you and your group meet the physical fitness and age requirements specified by the organizer. Kadal2Sahyadri is not liable for injuries or incidents arising from undisclosed health conditions or failure to meet requirements.
2.4 Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation refunds are governed by the platform refund policy and the time remaining before the trek start date. Platform discount amounts and payment gateway charges are non-refundable. Refer to the refund estimate on your booking page for details.
2.5 Conduct
You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the organizer, respect the natural environment, and not engage in behaviour that endangers yourself or others. Violation may result in removal from the trek without refund.
2.6 Reviews
Reviews must be honest, based on your genuine experience, and must not contain defamatory, abusive, or false content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
3. Organizer Terms
3.1 Verification
Organizer accounts require KYC verification before any activities can be published. You must provide accurate business information and valid documents. Providing false information will result in immediate account termination.
3.2 Listings
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all trek and activity listings. Listings must not misrepresent the activity, difficulty level, inclusions, or pricing. We reserve the right to unpublish or remove listings that violate our policies.
3.3 Safety & Compliance
Organizers must comply with all applicable local laws, permits, and safety regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that guides are qualified, equipment is safe, and emergency protocols are in place. Kadal2Sahyadri is not liable for incidents arising from organizer negligence.
3.4 Bookings & Participants
You must honour all confirmed bookings. Cancelling confirmed bookings without adequate notice or cause may result in penalties and suspension of your account. You are responsible for verifying participant eligibility on-site.
3.5 Fees & Payouts
A platform commission is deducted from each booking as per your subscription plan. Payouts are processed according to the payout schedule in your dashboard. We reserve the right to withhold payouts in cases of disputes or policy violations.
3.6 Prohibited Activities
Organizers may not solicit direct payments from users outside the platform, misuse user personal data, or engage in price manipulation. Violation will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of pending payouts.
3.7 Subscription
Access to organizer features is subject to an active subscription plan. Subscription fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice.
4. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Kadal2Sahyadri does not store payment card details. By completing a payment, you authorise the charge to your selected payment method.
Refunds for user cancellations are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of approval, subject to the applicable refund policy. Payment gateway fees are non-recoverable.
In the event of an organizer-initiated cancellation, users are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
5. Liability & Safety
Adventure activities inherently carry risk. By using this platform, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Kadal2Sahyadri is a booking intermediary and is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of property, or death occurring during activities.
Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
We strongly recommend that all users obtain appropriate travel and adventure sports insurance before participating in any activity.
6. Privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws. Your data is used to facilitate bookings, communicate important information, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Organizers receive participant details (name, phone, emergency contact) solely for the purpose of conducting the booked activity. Organizers may not use this data for any other purpose.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the platform or its users. Users may delete their accounts at any time via Account Settings.
